TERMS OF SALES

1.0 IDENTIFICATION OF THE SELLER

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those of the company Maé, whose office is located at 14, Stockholm avenue, office #6 in Casablanca, 20490, Morocco,  Registered in the commercial court register of Casablanca under the number 515141 and its intra-community VAT number is 002875033000008. 

The trading name of the company is Maé.

2.0 OUR PRODUCTS

All our products are meticulously crafted by hand, which means that you may notice some variation between each piece. This is entirely intentional, as the surface of our natural and handmade products is carefully designed to embrace and celebrate the inherent differences in each creation.

Our pieces exude an irregular and organic charm, featuring imperfect textures and finishes that add character and depth. They are thoughtfully crafted to infuse your interior with an authentic, natural, eccentric, and enigmatic touch. Consequently, the appearance of each creation can vary depending on the viewing angle.

Each creation showcases its own unique veins, ripples, folds, and individual imperfections in texture. As a result, every piece is one-of-a-kind and unlike any other in the same collection.

Our pieces intentionally remain unfinished, allowing the innate beauty of the layered material to shine through. This is not considered a flaw; rather, it's an integral part of our commitment to crafting genuinely unique and organic creations.

We highly recommend reviewing all product descriptions and photos before placing your order. 

The products offered for sale by Maé are those which appear on the site, on the day of the consultation of the site by the Customer within the limit of available stocks. Our Product offers and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the Site, within the limits of available stocks. Errors or modifications may exceptionally exist, in particular in the case of simultaneous orders for the same Product by several Customers. Maé does not incur any liability in the event of out-of-stock or unavailability of Products for orders not yet accepted by Maé.

We take utmost care to ensure the safe and prompt delivery of your purchase.

3.0 TERMS OF ORDERS

The Site allows you to order from Maé a selection of products, immediately online via the Internet for delivery in Morocco and abroad (see the “Delivery Terms” Article).

4.0 NAVIGATION ON THE SITE

The customer can find out about the various products offered for sale by Maé on its site. The user can navigate freely on the different pages of the site, without being committed under an order.

5.0 ORDER PROCEDURE

At any time, you can add Products to your selection by clicking on "Add to Cart", and choose to finish shopping or continue browsing.

You can consult your selection by hovering over or by clicking on "My Basket" in the menu at the top right where will appear: the photo(s) of the Product(s), its colors and reference(s), the quantity(ies) chosen, their unit price(s) and the subtotal of the selection. Shipping costs will be calculated on the next page in the checkout process.

5.1  IDENTIFICATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION
After selecting the Product(s), click on "Pay" to start the ordering process.
You will be asked to fill in your e-mail address and then complete the Delivery information necessary for the proper dispatch of your order: country of dispatch, title, first name, surname, telephone and Delivery address.

The data recorded by the Site constitutes proof of all transactions between Maé and its Customers. In the event of a dispute between Maé and one of its Customers over a transaction carried out on the Site, the data recorded by Maé is considered valid proof of the content of the transaction.

5.2 VALIDATION OF THE DELIVERY METHOD

Once you tap on the button, continue to the delivery method, you will have to choose your delivery method.
Once this step has been chosen, click on “Continue to payment method”.

5.3. VALIDATION OF THE MEANS OF PAYMENT AND PAYMENT OF THE ORDER

You will be prompted to enter payment information.
You can use your Delivery address as your billing address or enter another one.
Before paying, you will be prompted to "verify the order" to verify that all the information entered is correct.
At the end of the ordering process described above and after having accepted all of these General Conditions of Sale and Use of the Site, click on the "Pay Now" button. The sales contract will then be definitively formed.

Once completed, your order is forwarded to Maé for processing.
The order will only be validated by Maé after receipt and verification of payment for the order. In any event, Maé reserves the right to refuse any order or any delivery in the event of a dispute with the buyer, total or partial non-payment of a previous order by the buyer.

5.4 ORDER CONFIRMATION

A summary of your order will then be sent to you by email. The acknowledgment of receipt will include the total amount of the order, information relating to the cost, the essential characteristics, the quantity and the price of the Products purchased.
The Customer formally accepts the use of e-mail for confirmation by Maé of the content of the order.
We advise you to keep this acknowledgment of receipt on paper or electronically.

6. PRICE – MEANS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

6.1. PRICE & CURRENCY
The prices of the Products are indicated in Dh (Moroccan currency). Regarding sales made outside Morocco, customs clearance, payment of various duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
Maé reserves the right to modify the prices of the Products offered on the Site at any time and without notice. The Products are invoiced on the basis of the prices displayed on the Site at the time of placing your order, subject to the availability of the Products ordered at that time.

The prices indicated do not take into account the shipping costs which will be invoiced and will be specified to the customer during the final validation of his order.

6.2. MEANS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

The means of payment accepted are as follows: credit cards and bank cards (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®) via our secure platform.

Transactions are conducted in Dh (Moroccan dirhams). Prices displayed on the web catalog can be expressed in any currency. However, it is the DH (Moroccan dirhams) displayed on the payment pages that constitute the currency of the monetary transaction. Customers using a foreign card will be debited with the currency of their account equivalent to the amount in Dirhams according to the exchange rate on the day of settlement.

The commitment to pay given by means of a payment card is irrevocable.
Any order made on the Site implies the guarantee on the part of the Customer that he has all the necessary authorizations to use the means of payment made available on the Site.
The dispatch of your order takes place only after verification of your method of payment and receipt of the authorization to debit your card.
Your account will be debited when your order is shipped.
Maé does not keep the bank details of its Customers.

7. RETENTION OF TITLE

The Products ordered remain the property of Maé until full payment has been received by Maé.
On the other hand, you assume the risks (in particular of loss, theft or deterioration) concerning the Products delivered from the moment they are delivered to the address indicated during the order.

8. TERMS OF DELIVERY

8.0. THE DELIVERY 

Every order is packed with care. Maé will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. If such an instance occurs, we will do our best to assist in troubleshooting and will share and supply as much information as possible so you may file a claim with the carrier.

Where you have ordered more than one item, we will endeavor to make delivery in one installment but we reserve the right to make delivery in multiple installments.

8.1. DELIVERY ZONE

Delivery means the physical delivery of the Product to the Customer (the “Delivery”).
Products purchased on the Site can be delivered in Morocco and abroad.
For reasons, including security, Maé will not process any order for which a poste restante, hotel, PO box or Cedex address is provided.
The Products are shipped to the Delivery address that you indicated during the ordering process.
In the event of an error in the wording of the Customer's contact details, Maé cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the Product(s) ordered.

8.2. TRANSPORTATION COSTS

When entering the order on the Site, the Customer must choose the Delivery method and the place of Delivery.
The amount of the delivery costs is calculated according to the destination as well as the delivery method chosen. Please, note that some possible taxes may imposed when the package reaches its destination. Exclusively the purchaser assumes these costs.

Maé is not required to check and inform the customer of customs duties and applicable taxes. To find out, the customer can consult the appropriate authorities in his country. 

The various promotions are only valid for a limited period and within the limits of available stocks.

8.3 DELIVERY TIME

Unless otherwise indicated on the site, Maé will make its best efforts to ensure that the order is dispatched within an average of seven working days from the day following of receipt of payment. The day after a collection is put online, this period can be extended up to 10 days.
Unless otherwise provided, delivery is made to the address indicated by the buyer when ordering. In order for these deadlines to be respected, the Customer must ensure that he has communicated exact and complete information concerning the Delivery address (such as, in particular: street number, building number, staircase number, access, names and/or intercom numbers, etc.)

The products will be sent by La Poste Morocco. Maé declines all responsibility in the event of too long a delivery time due to the postal services, as well as in the event of loss of the products ordered or of a strike. The risks of transport are borne by the buyer, who must make a reasoned protest to the postal services within three working days of delivery. Furthermore, it is specified that ownership of the products ordered will only be transferred to the buyer upon full payment of the invoice price, including delivery costs.

Upon receipt of his order, the buyer will take care to check the conformity of the objects received. Any anomaly concerning the delivery (missing object, incorrect model) must imperatively be notified by email, on the same day of receipt or at the latest on the first working day following receipt, to Maé by e-mail addressed to hello@maeapproach.com

9. PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information of personal information collected in the context of distance selling is mandatory, this information being necessary for the processing and delivery of orders as well as for the establishment of invoices. This information is strictly confidential. The lack of information implies the automatic rejection of the order.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Maé will not be liable for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations under this contract, if this non-performance is caused by an event constituting force majeure, in particular in the event of disruption or total or partial strike, in particular of postal services and means of transport and/or communications, fire, floods, earthquake, failure or failure of equipment, etc.

11. INDIVIDUAL OWNERSHIP

All content present, such as texts, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos present on this site are, unless otherwise stated, the exclusive property of Maé, which does not grant any license or any other right than that of consulting the site.

12. GOVERNING LAW

The interpretation and enforcement of these terms and conditions, in the absence of an amicable agreement, shall be exclusively subject to Moroccan law, regardless of the customer's country of residence and the location of order execution
